The Heat Wave

Today we watched a video of the heat wave. People need to wear sunglasses and sun hats. People can go to a water park to keep cool. People can use a fan or air-conditioner. People can take a nap.

The Ice Storm

Today we watched a video about people who had an ice storm. People had no electricity. No one could get anywhere with the car because there were many accidents. Everything was covered with ice. Everything that was technology didn't work, people had no heat and they had to burn their furniture.

Ice Storm

Today we watched a youtube video about the Ice Strom in Montreal. First it snowed a lot and then it rained. The rain turned into ice and the ice covered the houses, the street signs, the cars, the airplanes, the street lights, the streets and the electric wires. People didn't have electricity. People couldn't turn on the lights, they couldn't do any cooking, they couldn't talk to people on the phone and there was no heat. People couldn't go to work. Children couldn't go to school to learn.
